Girls' Night Out
by Lisa Steinke, Liz Fenton
Not as strong as [b:The Good Widow|32604387|The Good Widow|Liz Fenton|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1484677281s/32604387.jpg|53185492] and populated by essentially 100% unlikable characters. I can't think of anyone who didn't drive me crazy, aside from small characters like the hotel employee who helps them out. It's definitely a warning that when everyone is overwhelmed there's not much they can do to empathize with each other's struggles. (Although the three main characters were exceptionally self-involved and one would hope there are people in this world a little better at empathy.)
