Britt-Marie Was Here
by Fredrik Backman
I loved this book. I love a story of someone who finally finds “their people” and this is just that, but in the least expected ways. The characters are likable and believable and the whole book was heartwarming. I found A Man Called Ove to be a little boring but for whatever reason I enjoyed this similarly themed female perspective better. The initial similarities to A Man Called Ove put me off at first but by a quarter in I was interested, halfway in I was hooked and by the end I was really glad to have read this.
