A must read. I started this because it’s the first book in the Bishop’s University Alumni Association Bookclub. It’s very relevant to what happens in the US on a regular basis, and the authors don’t try and sugarcoat the issue of police violence against people of color, and how it’s all portrayed in the media. I liked that it was written by two authors, and we got a glimpse of both sides of the issue. The ending was also 10/10. We need a complete shift in the police/justice system as a whole. I want to be optimistic and hope things will change for the better. But, I don’t think it’ll happen anytime soon.
