"The concepts of love and family are deeply intertwined." This adorable YA novel is filled with this theme throughout the entire book. The story of the four Signh sisters, their path to finding love and the connection with a part of their family they haven't seen in years. Each sister's path to love is interconnected, from Nidhi's struggle to follow her heart; Sirisha's struggle to find her voice; Avani discovering love is right in front of her; to Rani herself, the family's anointed true Love Guru, fantasizing about her first kiss, hoping to have the ultimate Bollywood love story. I loved how the sisters' stories were intertwined throughout the story, even the Dad finding love again after the loss of the girl's beloved Pop. Lots of laugh out loud moments along with the teary eyed moments came across the pages of this book. This was the perfect YA romance for those who believe in love. I appreciated the way the author integrated the family's culture into the storyline. Makes me want to try more Indian food! So many delicious foods were mentioned throughout the story!
