It's Not OK to Feel Blue (and other lies) by Scarlett Curtis

3.0

I love the concept of this book and I definitely read it at a time in my life where it could have helped. Unfortunately for me it seemed like quantity over quality and it's apparent that just because someone has experienced mental health difficulties and is vaguely well known, it doesn't make them a good writer. A couple were so generic and impersonal (Naomi Campbell's was just awful) they were totally useless, and lot of the poetry was primary school level at best. There were some really lovely pieces too and a couple of useful bits of advice, but it took some digging to find them.
