I enjoyed the first half of this book more than the second half - the tension, forbidden workplace/boss’s daughter romance, the “whiplash” of Easton being hot and cold to Henley (and I loved that she called him on it everytime). I also liked that he stuck up for her academic and professional achievements to her misogynistic father and partners. The second half just kinda was meh for me - so much pickleball and water rafting and panic attacks. I do appreciate a man in therapy tho!

This was a total play on Gossip Girl and Bridgerton with the “Taylor Tea” gossip column - totally written like Lady Whistdown too 🤣
