Night Embrace by Sherrilyn Kenyon
4.0

Second reading review. Wow I had forgotten how much happened in this book. We are introduced to Styxx in this book and get to see just how much of an arrogant asshole he is, I have no idea how Kenyon is going to turn him around and make a hero out of him for her most current release. We also get to meet some of the leads for the next few books. What really blows my mind away is how many clues are in this book for the greater story arc that carries throughout most of her books and kind of cumilates in Ash's story. She must have had most of this world mapped out way before she even started the first book. There are so many pieces to find that I am going to read them all, including the short stories and the one book I really didn't care for 'Time Untime' just so I don't miss a single detail. Reading them all in a row really isn't like reading 20 some odd different books, but instead is like reading one long epic journey into a world I love.

Talon and Sunshine were great. Such heartache between these two soulmates. Sunshine is different from some of the other female leads and was a refreshing change and fun to follow. One quick short story and then on to Zarek's story. He is another make lead whose past just breaks my heart.
