Gavin would have been better off sticking with Stephanie. She sounded lovely and would treat him a hell of a lot better than Emily, who made me want to smash my kindle to smithereens on more than one occasion. And the end? Unbelievable.
I enjoyed this until about half way, then she blew my mind with her ridiculous decisions and utter lack of backbone. Why would he want someone like that?!
I did devour it though, and the writing was good. The banter between E&G was fun, plus the UST was off the scale on occasion. I guess it evoked a passionate response in me, but I need to feel for the heroine, and I really wanted Gavin (who I loved) to see the light and walk away.

I don't think I can cope with the sequel, but I have given it three stars because, although it made me soooooo angry at times ... I was hooked (until the last fifty of so pages which I had to skim through a red mist!)
