hydrangeawitch 's review for:
Queen of the Damned
by Anne Rice
I think this is more of a 3.5 star reading than a solid 4 stars thing.
It definitely had pacing issues and the conclusion to the problem was surprisingly easy in the end. I couldn't exactly say what it was lacking but it was missing something.
This 3rd installment is very different from the first two- in feeling; narrative and plot. But I think every book so far needs to be seen as an individual part of the whole story.
I still had fun reading this conclusion and even though I'm not blown away by The Queen of the Damned I want to continue the Chronicles (even though I swore to myself I wouldn't, but that's how it is sometimes).
