Rowling's masterpiece. There are several plotholes created throughout the series, but I can forgive them for a final book as strong as this. The Golden Trio are simply just lovable; Rowling presents the personal consequences of war so accurately, you simply cannot put it down. Love and loss are the tale (one particular student's death had me sobbing, but then you're delighted because the slowburn couple finally admit their feelings), and Rowling merges them perfectly. My only qualm is the epilogue. 'All was well'.... Rowling. You can do better than that.
