The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton
3.0

3.5 stars. This book was hard to get into, what with the plethora of characters and jumping around from perspectives and time periods. There was a lot of food for thought - though I disliked the main major premise of the book for its twisted morality. The mystery was enveloping enough, like ivy growing over an old house - pretty soon I was so wrapped up in the mystery I couldn't put it down. But I wasn't totally in love with the (mostly) tragic endings of the different characters.
