Damn damn damn. Loved Tartt's writing style - her prose is both swift and beautiful. A book about the most wretched and unserious people I've ever read; I really enjoyed it.
Lost me a little in the final quarter; still dont know how much I really believed in Camilla and Henry as a couple, and everything surrounding their relationship felt quite flat compared to the other dynamics. Maybe that's intentional as a result of Richard as narrator. Won me back with the epilogue though - beautiful final few lines.
Moderate: Racism
Minor: Incest and Racial slurs
