Where do I even begin? I am blown away by this story. Okay first, a confession. This is the first B.B. Reid book I have read. I know. I know. I'm hitting myself too. I can't believe I have waited this long to read her work!
This book was dark, and suspenseful and so seriously sexy. Angel! This character has to be one of my favorite dark characters I have read. He just holds your attention. He is sexy and alpha and demanding and even charming when he wants to be. I completely fell for him. I don't know what that says about me, but it's true. :) I actually really like Mian also most of the time. Occasionally I found her to be a little immature, but with her age, that is to be expected.
The storyline had me on the edge of my seat the entire time, never anticipating the next move from these characters. Oh and that ending! I am dying to read the next book in this series. I refuse to talk about specific plot happenings, because you definitely need to read this book for yourself.
B.B. Reid definitely has a new fan and I will be going back to read her other books.
