The Cabin in the Woods by Sarah Alderson
5.0

The Cabin in the Woods had me hooked from page one! Rose is hiding out in a remote cabin, and the story flips between Then and Now to slowly peel back all the delicious drama.
Think: wealthy socialite with a dark past, secrets on secrets, and a twisty ride that keeps you flipping pages like your life depends on it. It’s more domestic drama than full-on horror (don’t let the title fool you), but still packed with eerie vibes and tension.
Rose will have you sympathizing one minute and shaking your head the next—but that ending? So satisfying. And if you’re into audiobooks, Stephanie Cannon nails it.
🎧💥 Definitely one to go into blind!
