i kind of don't like fantasy novels but after reading Circe.. mythology has been on my radar. i thought this book was an interesting and insightful rendition of Medusa's story but.. i did not enjoy how much we jumped around from perspective to perspective. why am i all of a sudden an object and why are we breaking the fourth wall and telling me what i'm feeling? but i really liked the rendition of the story but not so much how she went about it.. no se but i loved that chapter where she describes the gorgions scream as something so memorable that Athene made an instrument to remember it by, the flute.
