An enjoyable short story about coming to terms with a wrong doing and making amends. It read like a fairy tale/folk tale and I loved it. The story was short, of course I would have liked the characters to be fleshed out a bit more, but overall it is a perfect gratifying read between novels. The author also send an alternate first chapter, which I enjoyed more than the first draft. I hope to read more from the author in the future.
