ashtea 's review for:
All the Ugly and Wonderful Things
by Bryn Greenwood
[3.5]
The scoring for this is primarily due to the moral struggle I went through during the entirety of the book. This was beautifully written and emotionally provoking, however my weariness for the events occurring in the middle of the book impeded the scoring of this.
I was in tears of anger towards the end of the book and slowly that anger and frustration turned into being content. This is such an amazing book that I could emotionally connect with the struggles of the characters and feel their grief and feel their happiness as if it were radiating through the book. That's what I love about this, the ability it has to convey feelings I wouldn't have through well structured sentences.
