Let me tell you, I DEVOURED this book! I could not put it down and stayed up way too late *cough* 5 am *cough* finishing it after I started it before work yesterday morning.

I loved Oraya a strong female lead, “little serpent,” who stayed true to the nickname throughout the book and kept her hard edges and strong personality. I really genuinely loved her as a character and admired how she’d learned to survive in a world where she was meant to be prey and nothing more.

I also adored Raihn, who wore many faces and personas throughout the books. I loved when his vulnerable and true self was shown in small moments out of the publics eye. I also liked his empathy and understanding and his acceptance or Oraya, sharp teeth and all.

This book was action packed, fast-paced and hard to put down. I’ve already started the next book in the series.
