not gonna yuck anyones yum...but for a book that started with a promise of some plot some smut, it was gravely lacking both (until the end where its all smut but like extremely aggressive and borderline non-consensual). about 70% of the book is just camping and cringe banter. Feels like if you took a bunch of aspects of ACoTaR and spun them to make Rhys someone without the respect that he prides himself on. the male MC keeps talking about how he "respects women" and will "always give a choice" but is aggressive, possessive, touchy even when she says no, and in case you didnt get the point being driven home many a time: his cock hangs down to his knee. The big plot twist at the end was lack luster in its reveal and can easily be seen from like 40% of the way into the book
