This novel is a bit hard for me to rate as I watched the first season of “Bridgerton” about a year before reading this book. And honestly, I think the TV show is better than the book, which is probably the first time I’ve ever thought that.
The Duke and I provided me with a good, straightforward story, but I wasn’t thinking about it when I wasn’t reading it. (I even considered DNFing it a couple of times.)
Overall, this was a mildly entertaining read that fans of the show might enjoy.
