Doctor Who: The Mind of Evil by Don Houghton

2.0

I'm pretty sure my less enthusiastic response for this is because I have never listened to anything like it. I realize radio shows like this used to be big in the states, and they are still done across the pond, but I couldn't really keep track of things too well. It was very much like listening to a TV show with audio captions for the blind, and the lack of transitions gave the story less solidity than I would have liked. It may also have to do with the fact that--despite my absolute love for The Doctor--I am a "new" Whovian. I have not seen any episodes of the show before 8th Doctor. My knowledge of 3rd Doctor (the one in this "play") is limited to him being stuck on Earth and his liking for karate and velvet suits. If I were more in touch with the earlier series, I'm sure I would have liked it a lot more. I'm still glad I gave this medium a try, though.
