In a nutshell: A book about BDSM written by someone who's only knowledge of it is what they have Googled.
It's not just this issue which makes FSOG god awful, there's much more....
* A totally vapid female lead
* A totally unlikeable male lead
* Boring sex scenes ( honestly, this is one of the tamest 'erotica' books I've ever read')
* Terrible writing, poor scene-setting, and some very suspect syntax
* For all the sex going on, there was no FUN in this book.
* Characters other than the leads were peripheral to the point of invisibility.
* Enough with the lip biting already!!!!
Read Anais Nin instead.
