I liked this book even more than the first one. All the characters from 'Vicious' are back in this book and definitely with a bang. What a plot, what a story, and what wonderful characters. Victor Vale and Eli are my favorites.
V.E. Schwab writes such an amazing ending. The story was scattered, but when everything comes together at the end, oh my, it's so satisfying. What an ending, truly exceptional. The ending was smooth as butter. Loved, loved, loved the ending.
Marcella's character irritated me a lot; she was such a man-hating show-off. I had the least interest in her story. Eli and Victor's storylines were the most interesting. Eli's backstory was very well done. This book was supposed to be a full 5-star read, but Marcella bored me a lot, so I'm only giving it 4.5 stars.
I'm sad that I won't be able to read about Victor or Eli now, but what a cool concept it was, and I loved every second of it.
