This is like if you wanted to watch keeping up with the Kardashians but with the Obamas. Loads of detail. I think it’s 3/4 of the way through the book that Obama becomes president. I liked it. I teared up at the big parts I remembered. Definitely worth a read.
My friend said it bothered her that Michelle freaked out when one of the kids was diagnosed as being overweight. This book made me think about how the Obamas are actually boomers. Michelle was very polite about her law firm that was clearly discriminatory. I liked the book and appreciated it. I’m ready for people in power to be a little more clear that bias is unacceptable.
