Its just mid. Not groundbreaking by any means. Part 1 of the book had me hooked, Part 2 made me almost DNF it, and Part 3 was as impactful as a soggy dead fish. The Bunny group literally act horrible since moment one of the story and the only consequences they get are an alarming amount of broken bones, which is literally not enough for the crimes they committed. The "magic" that the Bunnys use is just rebranded cheap "witchcraft", and I say this because Samantha pointed out one of the bunny girls "pentagram necklaces" that they were wearing at the time. There wasn't much thought at all about these animal to human lover transformations went down outside of that and it was quite disappointing. Thats my summary of the book: disappointing. Just read "Don't Let the Forest In" or "The Secret History", because this book is just a watered down version of that.
Graphic: Animal cruelty, Animal death, Body horror, Violence, Blood
