I wish I could inject this book into my veins. I wish I could grind it into a fine powder, cut it into lines and snort it.
What I'm saying is, I LOVE this book.

Sugar follows Satara Stratton, a stunning and utterly unhinged woman who finds out her husband is having an affair with her best friend. So she does what any totally rational and super levelheaded person would do -
she murders the absolute piss out of him. And Satara is not only determined, but convinced she's going to get away with it.

Meanwhile, she is lonely and aching without her beloved Dean, so through the advice of a friend, she seeks the help of a Love Witch to win the affection of a handsome but cold coworker.

Slowly but surely though, we watch as her carefully woven web of lies starts to unravel, and along with it her sanity. Everything she thought she knew - thought she loved - will be tested.

I LOVE a feminine rage fueled story about an unhinged hottie, and Mia Ballard is the one to trust to deliver. Murder, Magic and Mayhem, what else could a girl ask for?

Not to mention, the last 30 or so pages of the book are an absolute whirlwind that'll have you white knuckle gripping the book with both hands.

Easy five stars. I love this book in a way that is borderline unhealthy, and in the spirit of Satara, I wouldn't have it any other way <3
