I Hate Everyone But You
by Allison Raskin, Gabe Dunn
1.5/5.
The stars are only given because of the blatant diversity regarding gender/sexuality, and because the storyline was written in a way similar to high school gossip which was intriguing.
Other than that, this book was a mess. Even in the first few lines, you can tell that it was written by BuzzFeed employees. From the beginning I disliked Ava's character, even while understanding her anxiety I found her extremely annoying and clingy.
This is a fault in the editing process, but some emails didn't even print the user icons and there were a number of obvious typos. There was a (likely paid) promotion of Best Fiends forced into the story, and self-promotion by the authors themselves to their own YouTube content and employer. This tried way too hard to use millennial language ex. "woke bae".
