Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

4.0

This was a very thought provoking read. I stayed up until after 1 in the morning to finish it. It was on my mind as I fell asleep and it was on my mind when I woke up a few hours later.

Their was so much good in this book and I liked that, as controversial as the subject matter is, Jojo Moyes really did show both sides of it through her characters. I know where I stand on the issue but, I went in with an open mind. I didn't get emotional but I did envision that this could have came to the same conclusion but through different means.

I thought a lot of the interactions in this book were immature and selfish, being that the majority of the character were adults. I did like that the romance wasn't instant and did take some time to build. I may read the second book, but I can't say that its a "need to read".
