Beartown by Fredrik Backman
5.0
A little slow to start, I’ll admit that. I was going to knock off a star because the first 100 pages were hard for me to get through. The book earned that star back when I was fighting back tears for the last hundred pages.
Backman addresses and perfectly encapsulates many various aspects of human nature. Adolescence, Young adulthood, adulthood, and even middle age and beyond. Powerful story with amazing characters, and a gut-punching plot. I feel so emotionally drained in the best of ways.
