We are introduced to Liam and Stormy in “Dirty Christmas”, which is a cute novella about Liam’s co-worker Noel meeting Stormy’s sister Misty and having an instalove Christmas together. How do they meet? Well, Liam “carjacks” Noel’s car because he sees Stormy for the first time in a year. She freaks out and runs, so he follows her. Because when they meet exactly one year ago, on Christmas Eve in Vegas? Yeah, they got married and then she also ran from him.

Liam doesn’t want to have a relationship. Ever. He’s got some serious baggage from a past relationship and massive issues with his family. Stormy was literally going to be married on the same day she met and married Liam, but caught her fiancé cheating on her. Stormy also doesn’t want to have a relationship. They each tell NO ONE about the wedding…not even Stormy’s sister.

When they are forced to be part of each other’s lives due to Noel and Misty’s fast-tracked relationship, they both begin to blur the lines they thought were dredged in stone. Both are in denial about their feelings for one another. Their chemistry is off the charts, and I loved the conversations they had.

Liam might be my favorite Slayer yet! His ability to support Stormy, even when they were apart, was extraordinary. His main goal is to protect her. Protect her from pick bunnies, gossip sites, fans, an extremely jealous ex (on both sides), and maybe even protect her from himself. Will he realize that he loves her and she’s worth the fight? Can Stormy convince him they are stronger together than apart? Such an amazing story, and I’m already looking forward to Bowie and Piper’s book next!
