Ruskin Bond holds a special place in my heart because of many reasons and certainly because I re-started my reading journey after a gap of 3 years with one of his books and fell in love with his works. Ruskin Bond's books always makes me nostalgic for the past I never experienced and compells me to romanticize leading a simple life. His books are not always plot heavy but the simple yet effective story telling quality of his hooks the reader till the very end. To sum it up, his books are like reading with a cup of tea atop a hill on a winter morning
