I understand all the hype around this book now. What a unique story and unique magic system tbh. I really liked the book, the characters where likely able. 

There is some VERY tame spice once toward the end of the book. It also leaves us on a cliffhanger of sorts. Thankfully, book two is already out! Looking forward to reading that one soon.
