Possessed By Passion by Bella Emy
5.0
After what I've read so far I cannot wait to see what the rest of Possessed by Passion holds! So much talent! I will continue to add to my review but I just had to start it. This set is amazing! Grab your copy while you can!
The Hollow-Eyed Girl by John Watson
This one had me on the edge of my seat. Watson takes the reader on an unforgettable ride. This book will have you second guessing everything you read. Just when you think you have it figured out another twist comes into play. I enjoyed the game that is played throughout the book. As a reader it was fun to play along and try to figure out the puzzles. I thought this was a unique touch added by Watson that really enhances the thrill of the book. Every detail has been put into play for a reason and it all ties together to create one dark, twisted, and mind bending book that you will not want to put down.
The Arisen by Rena Marin
I was hooked on this story from Chapter One! All the characters were great but Anala was my favorite. She is such an amazing character. I loved her from the beginning! The dark elements and mystery that surround her really pulls you in.
I think Marin did a great job on world building within this book. The reader really gets a feel for the pit and even the human world. When the demons arrive, things get really tense. I couldn't get through the pages fast enough.
The storyline held my interest, and I loved the bits of darkness sprinkled throughout the book. The ending was also perfect! Marin did a fabulous job with this book. This is outside of her typical writing, but she nailed it!
Meet Cut(e) by Tiffany Carby
Right off the bat I adored Aggie. She's a girl ready to take on the world! Excited yet nervous about the new life she is starting in Hazenburg. Carby definitely captures the small town feel in this book.
I enjoyed learning more about Drake too. Lots of family history shared that leads up to him running the shop. When Drake runs into Aggie it's like instant fireworks! I was excited to see where this went. The heat between them was something!
All seemed normal to me until Jack Baxter enters the picture. I HAD to know what was going on here. I loved the twist thrown in towards the end. Not where I thought it was going to go but still a shock! This filled in the details about Jack and Drake. Wow!
I enjoyed everything about this book. Carby delivered great characters, the mystery and intensity within the story and of course the sparks between Drake and Aggie. My interest was piqued even more by the ending. I cannot wait to see what happens next!
Under the Moonlight by MW Brown
Brown starts off with an intense opening. I was tearing through the pages to find out what was happening with Paul and Tommy. Great way to start off the book! The page flipping didn't stop there!
Liam grabbed my attention immediately and when Beccy arrived I was really curious to see how things were going to go between them. From here it all gets more intense. I was intrigued by the mystery of Sanborn, Beccy's aunt, her house and what is lingering in the night.
The story continues to unfold offering some amazing history and an unexpected ending. I couldn't put it down and was always waiting to see what was going to happen next. Another great book by Brown that captured my interest with all of its details and wonderful characters.
