Nemesis

This book was one hell of a ride. When I read the blurb I had thought of a complete different story compared to what happened in the book. It starts off quite interesting and it's at quite a good pace. I liked that we got to see the different perspectives of the two main characters. But if I must be honest, I did get kinda bored in some parts and thought that it wouldn't get better because nothing had really jumped out at me.
Then it got real. One by one things started to unfold and this book followed a cycle: new facts to reel us in and then nothing- this just repeated but then the climax happened.
I didn't like Noah from the beginning and I still don't. Read the book and you'll understand why. But all I'll say is that he was rigid in the mind frame of him being chosen for a greater cause. I don't like that.
I did think that this novel would be a combination of quite a few books I have read but in the end it definitely was not because OMG. Oh and I also liked how the author brought space into it :)
The author had to think quite a lot to piece it all together and I applaud him for that.
Overall, I am a bit disappointed that the story didn't finish within one novel but I guess I'll have to read the next book coming out next year (Genesis).
