I came back to this book after having started it years ago, and I'm glad I did. My mind was in a better place to really enjoy the wonder of what Paolini wrote. His world-building is expansive, his characters are unique and each have their own special place, and the mysteries always keep you guessing as to what happens next. I am so happy I came back and read this with older eyes, and I'm even more excited to continue on with the next books. The lore is heavy, not horribly so, and requires a small bit of effort to put all the strings together. But it is well worth it, I think. There are so many questions I have about the motivations and lives of some characters that were introduced, and I'm glad there's more material to cover.
Moderate: Death, Gore, Violence, War
