I was interested in reading this book because of its intriguing title and then more so after reading the synopsis but unfortunately, it fell flat for me.

Kayleigh works for Hexa and is employed to moderate content that has been flagged on the social media site. Her job is to then decide whether or not it can stay posted. The story is written as though Kayleigh is telling a Mr Stitic about her experience working there but I wasn't a fan of this writing style.

It does take an interesting look at how things that are posted online can desensitise you after prolonged watching and can warp your boundaries. I did feel like the plot in its entirety focused too much on Kayleigh and her ex-girlfriend Sigrid, which I just didn't care too much about. I don't know if it was just that the story went too much over my head but this wasn't one for me.

The ending felt like it was just about to get good before it stopped abruptly. Shame.
