The Carnal Tower series is one of my favorites from E.M. Lindsey, and I feel like I've been waiting for so long to get my hands on this one! It was well worth the wait. Flint is such a complicated character already with his past trauma still hanging over him, and giving him not one but two lovers complicates things for him even more. His struggles to believe he's worthy of love are in his way the whole book, but he can also recognize that being with Tomás and Luke isn't something he can live without. I think there's a pretty heavy dose of instalove with this throuple, but it doesn't feel wrong. Every terrible thing that each of them has been through laid the foundation for them to be able to support each other and understand that when you feel that piece of your soul connecting to someone, it doesn't matter how long you've known them. Tomás's parts of this book absolutely broke my heart but the fact that E.M. Lindsey didn't just fast forward and erase all of the pain and hardship he went through to get to the point where he was okay enough to reach back out was a really important part of what made this book so good. I adored the love between Tomás and Luke, and Flint just fit in with them so perfectly. The side plot with Onyx was also really heartbreaking, but I'm excited to have him in more of the books going forward. Overall, this was just E.M. Lindsey perfection, and I will be eagerly awaiting the next Sin's book.
