Where Rainbows End by Cecelia Ahern
4.75

Ok Ok Ok.
Ohh boy do I have a lot to say about this.
Okay I'll just get the nitty gritty part out first- I hated Rosie and Alex for the first 3/4 of the book. Like, a lot. I'm really not exaggerating. I HATED them. I think I threw the book across the room like three times when Rosie said she wasn't actually moving. I was actually so mad. I'm not a mother, so I won't pretend to know that what she did was TECHNICALLY the right thing, but I was SO. FUCKING. MAD.

also like.. the characters have a lotta internalized misogyny (and they portray it as a joke like 'woohoo! this woman's a slut) and this thing is something I have noticed in her other book (One Hundred Names or smth like that) too. I did NOT like those parts at all.

I'll stop the things I hate here. Ok.

THIS BOOK WAS FUNNY AS HELLLL
GENUINELY. IT'S SO FUNNY. I LAUGHED SO MUCH
And I ADORE (most) of the characters. they're all so *them* and unique. I truly love them. and this book. did I hate this book at the start? yes. but did I end up loving it at the end? yes. will I keep reading Cecelia Ahern books? probably.

anyway, read it till the end- its worth it.
