If you like the movie The Lake House this book is for you! I enjoyed reading this book, it sort of feels like a hug. I loved the parts of “past” Iwan speaking about food. He’s so passionate, he has a way of romanticizing food. Definitely left me craving some lemon pie. I wish there was more closure for Clementine’s character development

we don’t get to see her find her passion and regain her happiness other than coupling up with Iwan in the present.

. Her development fell a little flat I wanted more. I also wish we got more scenes with Aunt Analea (like through Clementine’s memories). She was such a pivotal person to Clementine and I wanted to see more of their relationship. Despite this I enjoyed the book and would recommend it.
