I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The opening sentence was gripping and I was engaged from start to finish. As such, I think this is the perfect book to get anyone out of a reading slump. In my opinion, the pacing was perfect with just the right amount of description. The prose was quite beautiful, and overall, the story had a nice message.
Graphic: Mental illness, Panic attacks/disorders, and Suicidal thoughts
Moderate: Animal death, Death, Suicide, Suicide attempt, and Death of parent
Minor: Addiction, Alcoholism, Self harm, Vomit, Fire/Fire injury, and Alcohol
