This was a wonderfully written book that my kids and I could not wait to read together every day. I chose this book as a read aloud for my 2nd and 9th grader and both were equally intrigued and excited about the storyline, the characters and the beautiful ways in which we could see their growth. We couldn’t wait to get to the end but also were so sad when it ended. We would love a sequel of this beloved “League of Artifact Protectors”.
With themes of overcoming and healing from pain and trauma, to dealing with the difficulties of life and death, this book offered so many wonderful points of discussion regarding how we handle hardship, friendships, disappointment, and grief. The growth and development of not just the plot but the individual characters was beautifully done.
