Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

5.0

This book was such an amazing rollercoaster that I love to be on again. I mean the backdrop the mid 60s- early 70s , the sex, the drugs, the rock-and-roll. It was everything.

So the story starts off with daisy groening up in a wealthy family, but parents didnt really care about her. She find the solace she need, from the party scene in the Hollywood strip being around the varying rock and roll bands, the getting caught up with drugs, & drinking.

Then going into meeting the dune brothers: Billy and Graham, living in a single mother household since their father had lofted. They had started off as a two person band and then after several months, they found the rest of the band (the six).

This book was amazing from the pacing to the writing even though I understand why would find it hard to get to the overall story. I fell in love everything about this book. From the way that it was writing, daisy's growth as a character although a mess, I still love it. This book was everything and more. 5 stars.
