I love Huda Fahmy’s comics, art, writing, and her wit! This book follows the fictional family on a summer vacation to Disney. Mom is all about sister bonding this summer. And by the end, guess who has bonded? It's like the parents know things. I LOVE that Dena, the oldest, hits a boy who touched her without consent, and apparently this is a pattern! No one is ripping her hijab off, and she is NOT helpless.
This is my 17th book for The Diverse Baseline Challenge, and the first for the prompt Southwest Asian or North African (SWANA) Author.
