Love Maya and her art, but the writing and plot of this book leave a lot to be desired. I almost didn't finish it because it just wasn't interesting enough to get through. Had to skip around continuously and then go back to keep it interesting, but it was not captivating even then. They probably could've halved the book and had the same amount of substance.
