Actually pretty good! The romance is believable (as much as alien romance can be)(and hot), there's good character development (they even grow as characters!), and just enough suspense to keep you wondering if they'll get to stay together. I always go into these stories prepared for a goofy mess, but this one thankfully wasn't :)
