Starvation Heights: A True Story of Murder and Malice in the Woods of the Pacific Northwest by Gregg Olsen

dark slow-paced

2.0

The writing style was that of literary fiction. It focused on the small details of the story and chose to describe small details of a huge story.

I was disappointed by the pacing and the missed opportunity to go into the reason behind the crimes; why Dr. Hazzard did what she did. What was wrong with her that she chose to do this to people? I felt like the premise of the story was so interesting, but in my opinion poor execution.
