💌 And They Were Roommates by Page Powars 💌
MY RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Charlie’s first day at Valentine Academy is here, and he has a plan to hide his identity as the school’s only trans student—but his plan is wrecked when he’s assigned Jasper Grimes as a roommate. Jasper, the boy who broke his heart… and who doesn’t recognize him. He agrees to help Jasper write love letters for a secret project in order to secure his own dorm room and freedom. But long nights spent with Jasper lead to unexpected consequences.
This was so cute 😭😭😭 I loved The Borrow A Boyfriend Club by Page Powars and loved this even more. The concept? Hilarious, genius, perfect. The execution? Equally all of those things. I absolutely loved this story and the characters. The banter was perfect, the characters had depth and quirkiness that made them all so endearing, and while the book was funny and lighthearted, it was also extremely heartfelt and handled real emotions and situations with so much care. I recommend reading this one in September/back to school season! Such a great read.
