Wow. This book was great, stunning and the main character was the most insufferable person. The microagressions, straight up racism of the main character was absolutely well written, to the point where I think we all know someone EXACTLY like this, because they’re so insecure and blame their shortcomings on everyone else. I have never disliked someone MORE in a book. Seriously, this was such a fever dream horror esc novel. Really loved it. Would give it 5 stars but some parts felt to stage just a bit, I wanted the juice!
Man, the character June couldn’t be a better person if she fell down some stairs and broke her ankle because she was being a terrible person.
