I gave this book 4.5 starts for multiple reasons.
It’s not necessarily something that I could see myself reading over and over again, BUT it was VERY thought provoking.
Learning about another culture through the lens of science fiction was exciting and strange! I felt lost and out of place, and it helped me to experience the same confusion and mystery as the main characters. As well as similarly drawn to the safety and wildness of Ayodele.
Adaora, Agu, and Anthony were exceptional as main characters. Each were different and loveable, but the other perspectives through out the book also sent me for a wonderful but necessary loop.
This book provided wonderful insight into human nature.
The author did so well at exploring the darkest caverns of the human soul, while also provoking thought about Religion, Spirituality, and Hope.
