This novel made me feel sad. I didn’t cry, but there is no joy in this story. At all. Ever. That’s why I felt so sad. Even early in the book, I didn’t feel that Celestial and Roy were happy together. It went downhill from there. Actually In the epilogue I felt like both Roy and Celestial might find some happiness. The writing is excellent and the character development is strong.
